FOREBEARS Henry Wolcott (1578–1655), clothier, came from Tolland, Somerset, England, and settled in Windsor, CT, in 1636. His grandson Roger (1679–1767) was colonial governor of CT; his greatgrandson Oliver (1726–1797) was a signer of the Declaration of Independence.
